TATE MODERN PERFORMANCE

​In the lead up to the opening of the new building at Tate Modern, artist Peter Liversidge worked with communities across London to develop a performance to be staged as part of the opening week celebration in June 2016 and the LOLCHOIR was be part of it!

Using the architecture of the existing and new building, the collection, Tate’s Twitter feed and visitor feedback as key influences Liversidge will work collaboratively with a range of community groups to create songs about Tate Modern.

These songs were performed by a range of choirs from across London at an opening performance on Saturday 18th June 2016.
